STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT 
2 c. crushed pretzels (sm. sticks)
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 scant c. sugar
1 (9 oz.) tub whipped topping
1(6 oz.) box strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries

Mix crushed pretzels (not too fine), 1/2 cup sugar, butter and pecans together. Press mixture every lightly into a greased 9"x13"x2" pan. Bake for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool.

Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and whipped topping. Spread on top of first layer. Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. When 75% congealed, put on top of first layer. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving. Different fruits and Jello flavors may be used.
