EASTER BREAD 
6 1/2 lb. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. sugar (3 c)
1/2 c. crisco
1 doz. eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 large cake yeast
3/4 qt. warm milk

Mix all ingredients.

Bake at 325 °F 25 minutes or until done.

Glaze for Top of Bread:

2 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar
vanilla

Brush on top of bread when bread is almost done.
