CUMBERLAND LAMB PIE 
5 c. leftover lamb, cubed (from above)
1 chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1/4 lb. mushrooms
2 tbsp. butter or oil
1/4 c. flour
2 c. drippings and broth
1 c. sliced carrots
Single pastry crust
1 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
2-3 tbsp. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute garlic, onion, mushrooms in butter. Stir in flour. Add liquid. Thicken. Add lamb and carrots. Pour in baking dish. Top with pastry. Bake 35 minutes at 400 degrees.
