HAMBURGER ROLL 
1 lg. bread loaf
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
3/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/3 c. chopped parsley
1 egg
1 1/2 c. finely cut Cheddar cheese
1 can beef gravy

Cut long loaf half crosswise then cut slice from each end. Use fork to hollow out center of loaf. Reserve 1/2 cup crumbs.

In frying pan combine hamburger, onion, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir while meat browns. Take from heat. Add bread crumbs, dry mustard, parsley, egg slightly beaten and Cheddar cheese. Blend well.

Fill loaf with mixture, replace ends and secure with toothpicks. Brush loaf with butter. Wrap in foil and bake for 10 minutes in 400 degree oven.

Loosen foil and bake another 10 minutes. Serve with heated can of beef gravy poured over each serving.
