SOUR CREAM TWISTS 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

SUGAR MIXTURE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. vanilla

Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and cover at least 2 hours in refrigerator. Roll dough to rectangle 4"x16" and cover completely with part of the sugar mixture. Fold rectangle into thirds and roll out into rectangle. Again cover with part of sugar mixture. Fold into thirds again, turn 1/4 turn, roll out and repeat steps. With sugar mixture covered and rolled out, cut into strips and twist. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
