TURTLE CAKE 
German chocolate cake with pudding
2 sticks butter
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels

Mix cake as directed. Divide cake batter in half. To 1/2 of batter add 1 stick butter (melted) and 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk. Bake at 300 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

While cake is baking, melt caramels in double boiler. Add rest of Eagle Brand and 1 stick butter. Pour over top of baked cake. Top with pecans. Pour remaining cake batter over top and bake 18-20 minutes more.
