SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter (4 sticks), room temperature
2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp. water
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 to 8 c. quick oats

In a large bowl, beat first 5 ingredients till smooth. Gradually add next 4 ingredients. Continue to beat with electric beater till smooth.

Now, using a wooden spoon gradually add quick oats. Dough should be able to make small balls. If too sticky, add more oats. Scoop by teaspoon full. Make balls. Do not put them too close together on cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 9 to 12 minutes.
