FOUR BEAN SALAD | |
1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can yellow wax beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained 1 med. green pepper, thinly sliced 1 med. onion, thinly sliced MARINATING SAUCE: 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. salad oil 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. basil 2 tbsp. dry parsley Put beans, peppers, and onion into large bowl. Combine thoroughly ingredients of marinating sauce, drizzle over entire surface of vegetables. Cover and marinate several hours or overnight. Stir every once in awhile. (Florence-First) |
