VEGGIE AND MEATIE LION 
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 sm. bunch broccoli, cut up
1 med. Spanish onion, sliced
3 tbsp. bacon fat
1/2 tsp. Sweet n' Low (or sugar)
Chicken, cooked & cut in eighths or sauteed pork chop or smoked Polish sausage
1/2 c. water

Saute onion in butter until it is transparent but crisp, remove to dish. Saute rest of vegetables until crisp tender. Return onion to pan. Mix in sugar, 1/2 cup water (or chicken broth). Stir, cover 2 to 3 seconds. Add meats, stir and mix well. Cover 2 to 3 more seconds. Remove food to warm server.
