POUND CAKE WITH CRISP CRUST | |
1 1/2 c. Crisco 1 3/4 c. sugar 2 c. flour (cake flour) 5 eggs 2 tsp. flavoring (1 vanilla, 1 lemon) Cream Crisco and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time, beat well. Add flavoring and flour last. Do not overbeat while adding flour but mix well. Pour into lightly greased 9 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 70 minutes. |
