CRUNCHY CREAM DESSERT SQUARES 
1 c. Pillsbury's best all purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. flaked coconut or finely chopped nuts
1 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding
1 3/4 c. milk
1 c. (1/2 pt.) whipping cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.

In ungreased 9" square pan, combine first 4 ingredients; blend until crumbly. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Cool. Prepare pudding as directed using 1 3/4 cup milk; cool, if necessary.

In a small bowl, whip cream until slightly thickened. Blend in sugar and vanilla, beat until thickened. Reserve 1 cup cooled crumb mixture; press remaining crumbs over bottom of pan. Spoon pudding evenly over crumbs. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Chill 2 or 3 hours before serving.
