BANANAS DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE 
5 bananas
8 popsicle sticks
3 oz good quality chocolate bar
3 tbsp. butter, cut up

TOPPINGS: chopped nuts, toasted coconut, cookie crumbs, colored sprinkles or chocolate jimmies, semi-sweet mini chips, peanut butter chips, granola, toffee, heath brickle, etc.

Peel and cut bananas in half crosswise, so that you have 8 pieces. Insert a popsicle stick in the end of each peeled banana. Place bananas on a waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Place in the freezer, keep then in there as long as possible, at least 10 to 20 minutes. Heat chocolate bits with butter in a double boiler over low heat until the chocolate melts and butter is incorporated. Dip the chilled bananas in chocolate and roll into your favorite topping.

Chill or freeze until ready to serve.
