SPICY PUMPKIN CAKE 
1 pkg. spice cake mix
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
1 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. chopped dates or raisins

FROSTING:

1 c. whipping cream
2 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Combine cake mix and soda. Follow package directions substituting milk and pumpkin for liquid. Fold in nuts and raisins or dates. Bake in 2 round layer pans according to package instructions. Whip cream, honey, and cinnamon; frost cake.
