RANCH RIBS 
3-4 lb. lean pork spare ribs, cut in serving pieces

Sauce for ribs:

1 c. catsup
2 dashes tabasco sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 c. water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. celery seed

Place ribs in a shallow baking pan and microwave on full power for 10 minutes to a side. Remove and drain all fat. Combine ingredients for sauce and heat just to boiling.

OPTION A:

Place ribs in a shallow pan, cover with sauce mixture. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn occasionally to moisten the ribs, basting with the sauce.

OPTION B:

Place ribs in a crock pot and cover with the sauce. Heat on high for 4 to 5 hours or up to 8 hours at lower temperature.

Serve with rice.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
