FRUIT KUCHEN 
CRUST:

1/4 lb. butter
1 lg. egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 or 2 drops almond, if desired

Line bottom and sides of pan. Do not put any on top of fruit. String pan is best for this.

FILLING:

1/2 pt. sour cream
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and pour on fruit. Bake at 425 degrees for 1/2 hour and then turn to 375 degrees for 1/2 hour. Use apples, plums or blueberries. Do not use peaches.
