PEPPER HASH 
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
Celery seed
Salt
2 tbsp. sugar

Prepare vegetables and cover with 1 cup sugar. Heat remaining ingredients to boiling. Pour over vegetables. Let stand overnight. Serve cold.
