CRISP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, 2 sticks
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. salad oil
3 1/2 c. flour, plain
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. corn flakes (crushed after you measure)
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. pecans, chopped fine

Cream butter and sugar; add egg, oil and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda and salt. Stir in other ingredients. Form into balls the size of a walnut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten with fork (cross-cross). Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
