1 bx. chocolate cake mix
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry Jello
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. marachino cherry juice
1 pkg. dream whip
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1 1/2 c. cold milk

Prepare cake mix according to box instructions, add 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring. Bake in 9 x 13 inch cake pan (greased, flour with cocoa). When done, prick with a large fork to the bottom all over the surface. Mix 1 (6 oz.) package Cherry Jello, 1 1/2 cup boiling water, 1/2 cup marachino cherry juice. Pour while hot over cake, slowly. When cool, beat 1 package dream whip, 1 package instant chocolate pudding and 1 1/2 cups cold milk approximately one minute or until creamy, then spread over top of cooled cake. Refrigerate cake. To serve may garnish each piece with a marachino cherry.
