RAISIN PIE | |
2 c. water 2 c. raisins 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1/4 c. lemon juice 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) Unbaked pastry for 2 crust pie Bring water to boiling. Add raisins, cover and cook 5 minutes. Mix flour and sugar; stir into raisins. Lower to medium heat. Cook, stirring all the time, until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute, remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice. Add nuts, if used. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes or until browned. |
