COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. flour
5 eggs
2 tsp. coconut flavoring
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 box coconut
2 c. sugar

Bake at 350 degrees to start and finish at 300 degrees for 1 hour.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
2 tsp. coconut flavoring

Mix and heat. Pour over cake.
