GERMAN SPRITZ COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. sour cream
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3-4 c. flour

Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla, sour cream and egg. Mix dry ingredients, except flour, together and add to creamed mixture. Slowly stir in flour until a moderately firm dough is formed. (Humidity does effect these cookies.) Run dough through a cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 4-7 minutes until lightly brown.
