RIB SAUCE | |
2 1/4 c. ketchup 3 1/4 c. water 6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 1/4 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 (15 oz.) can pineapple with juice 1 green pepper (chunks) 1 onion, chopped Simmer above ingredients over medium heat, 20 minutes. This makes a great sauce to baste over country style ribs in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, basting every 20 minutes. Note: It is best to prebake the ribs on a rack for 45 minutes in order to drain fat before placing in roasting pan with sauce. |
