FRENCH ONION CASSEROLE
(Microwave)
 
4 med. onions, sliced
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
Dash pepper
3/4 c. beef bouillon
1/4 c. dry sherry
1 1/2 c. croutons
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
3 tbsp. grated Parmesan
Paprika

1. Saute onions in butter for 7 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking time.

2. Blend in flour and pepper. Pour in bouillon and sherry. Cook until thickened. Stir every 30 seconds.

3. Toss croutons with butter. Spoon onto onion mixture. Sprinkle with cheeses and then paprika. Cook 3 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
