ALPINE STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 c. water
1 c. white sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 oz. white Karo syrup
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
Fresh strawberries (whole)

Combine water, sugar, cornstarch and syrup. Boil until thick. Add Jello. Pour over strawberries in pre-cooked pie crust. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
