STUFFED CABBAGE DISH 
1 lg. leafy cabbage
3 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. raw rice
2 eggs
Salt & pepper
46 oz. can V-8 or tomato juice
Fresh carrots
Potatoes
1 lg. turnip

Cook rice in 2 cups water. Cool. Beat eggs. Mix beef with rice and eggs. Form into patties. Core cabbage and simmer it until leaves are soft and pliable. Take a leaf and wrap up a patty. Continue until beef is used up. Put them in roasting pan. Place cut up vegetables over patties. Pour over all 46 ounce can V-8 or tomato juice. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 to 3 hours. If dry, add more juice. Check once in a while.
