FRESH MUSHROOMS WITH CHEESE | |
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced lengthwise 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese, about 1/4 lb. 1 (8 oz.) can drained and pitted black olives, sliced or chop 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. Accent 1/3 c. half and half 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 c. fresh brad crumbs 1/2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt In a greased 2 quart casserole, arrange mushrooms, cheese and olives in alternately layers. Blend together salt, pepper, and half and half; pour over the layered mixture. In a small pan, melt the butter and add the bread crumbs. mix with a fork and sprinkle over the casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees until bubbly and golden brown, about 30 minutes. Serves 8. |
