TOMATOES & OKRA 
1/2 c. diced onion
4 c. sliced okra
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. curry powder
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 1/2 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp. chopped green pepper

Saute onion in bacon drippings in a Dutch oven until tender. Add okra and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until okra is tender.
