GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 or 7 red potatoes
4 slices bacon
3 tbsp. bacon grease
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water

Boil potatoes, cook and skin; fry bacon until crisp. Reserve bacon grease. Add flour to grease and stir until smooth. Add rest of ingredients, bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Cut up potatoes, add chopped onions, hard boiled eggs (cut up). Pour sauce over top and serve immediately.
