2 c. mashed strawberries (about 4 c. whole)
4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 box Sure-Jello fruit pectin

Have child mash strawberries with potato masher. Then mix sugar into strawberries. Set aside mixture.

Parent adds fruit pectin to water in saucepan. Bring to boil. Stir constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from stove. Add mixture to strawberries and sugar mixture. Mix until sugar is dissolved. Have child help ladle mixture into 4 (8 ounce) containers.
