CHICKEN SALAD 
3 c. chicken meat (cooked and shredded)
6 c. shredded lettuce
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 c. sliced celery
6 green onions, sliced
4 to 6 sweet gherkins, sliced
1 can (3 oz.) chow mein noodles

DRESSING:

1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tbsp. red or white vinegar
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. ground ginger
3 tbsp. sesame seeds

Combine all salad ingredients in large bowl. Combine dressing ingredients and pour over salad. Add sesame seeds. Put chow mein noodles on when serving so they don't get soggy.
