CONEY SAUCE 
2 lb. ground round
4 tbsp. oil
2 pkgs. onion soup mix
0.4 oz. pkg. Ranch dressing mix
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. ground cumin

Brown 2 pounds of ground round in 4 tablespoons oil in 2 1/2 quart heavy saucepan, medium-high heat, until pink color disappears. Crumble beef with fork. Stir in 2 packages onion soup mix, 2 cups hot black coffee, 0.4 ounce package Ranch dressing mix. Remove 1 cup of mixture to blender, blending to consistency of cement mortar.

Return it to remaining mixture in pan. Add 6 ounce can tomato paste, 1 tablespoon chili powder and 1 tablespoon ground cumin. Heat uncovered 30 minute son low. Serve over hot dogs. Serves 4 to 6.
