GERMAN PORK CHOPS 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In the bottom of a greased casserole dish, place 2 or 3 potatoes, peeled, and sliced or chunked. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and caraway seeds to taste. Add 2 cups drained sauerkraut. Sprinkle with more caraway seed. Pour 1/3 cup water over this. Top that with 6 big pork chops and more sauerkraut and caraway seed. Pour another 1/3 cup water over that. Bake covered 1 hour, or until done. Uncover the last 15 or 20 minutes to brown chops.
