Use 1 box yellow cake mix, cook as directed and leave cake in pan. (It can be stacked also.)

ICING:

1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla flavor or extract

Over low temperature put Eagle Brand milk in thick boiler and cook until sugar melts. Stir in butter and vanilla. Let barely cool.

Take a drinking straw or toothpick and put holes in cake. Take filling and pour over cake while cake and icing is still warm.
