1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix above ingredients. Cook pudding mix and add all above ingredients. Cool 5 minutes. Add 1 3/4 cup pumpkin and butter. Pour in cooked pie shell.

Fine chopped nuts or whipped topping may be added before serving.
