MARY'S CHEESY HASH BROWNS 
2 lb. hash browns
3/4 stick melted butter
1 c. chopped onions
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 pt. sour cream

Mix together and pour into an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/ hours.

TOPPING: 2 cups crushed corn flakes mixed with 3/4 stick of melted butter. Bake with topping on. This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Makes an excellent company dish.
