This is the recipe I have been using (with lard), but lately it is different. I used to render our own lard, but now have to use some from the store. I think the way it is processed it has moisture or something in it, and it turns out more like cookie dough. Does anyone else have this problem??? I used to be noted for good pies. Lately I'm not so proud.
