CARAMEL CREAM COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted flour

Cookies - Cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Add flour. Form into small balls and mark one way with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar

Brown butter slightly. Add powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Frost cooled cookies.
