CHOCOLATE ANGEL DESSERT | |
2 pkgs. chocolate bits 3 tbsp. sugar 3 eggs, separated 1 pt. whipping cream 1 sm. (8 oz.) angel food cake Melt chocolate and sugar in double boiler. Remove from heat, add beaten egg yolks. Cool 5 minutes only. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites to whipped cream. Fold chocolate mixture into cream. Break angel cake into bite size pieces. Sprinkle over bottom of 8"x12" pan. Pour mixture evenly over cake. Chill several hours. Serves 12 to 16. |
