CINNAMON RAISIN BISCUITS 
2 tsp. shortening
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Cut shortening into flour. Add cinnamon and sugars; mix well. Add milk. Stir in raisins, flour lightly. Roll dough onto floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with round biscuit cutter and place on greased cookie sheets with sides touching. Bake 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees until lightly browned.

While hot top with icing: 3 tbsp. milk
