CORN SOUTHERN STYLE MICROWAVE 
5 ears of corn
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 stick butter
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. milk

Cut corn off cobs (make 2 cups and scrape the cob). Place in Corningware bowl with glass lid. Put in microwave on high for 4 minutes. Add salt, sugar, butter and stir. Cook 2 minutes. Stir and add cornstarch and milk. Stir in and cook 4 minutes on high.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
