BEACON HILL COOKIES 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits (1 c.)
2 egg whites
Dash of salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt chocolate bits. Beat egg whites with salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar. Beat until stiff, but not dry. Add vanilla and vinegar. Fold in melted chocolate. Add nuts. Let batter harden, somewhat. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool slightly, before removing from pan. Yields about 4 dozen cookies.
