CHICKEN CACCIATORA 
1 frying chicken
1/2 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic
6-8 tomatoes, chopped
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 c. mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp. basil
1 bay leaf
Salt & pepper
1 can tomato paste

Heat oil in large skillet; brown chicken on all sides. Add remaining ingredients and cook approximately 1 hour. Serve over linguini.
