CHILI CON CARNE 
6 lbs. hamburger
3/4 c. dehydrated onion or 3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
3 qts. chopped celery
3 qts. canned tomatoes
1 1/2 c. tomato paste
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chili powder
6 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans with liquid
1 1/4 c. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. water

Brown hamburger, onion, salt and pepper. Add celery. Cook until celery is tender. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, chili powder and kidney beans with liquid. Simmer for about 20 minutes. If desired, thicken with cornstarch in water. For 50 servings.
