DATE NUT BALLS 
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
8 oz. pkg. chopped dates
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. Rice Krispies
Coconut

Melt butter in skillet. Add sugar and dates. Cook over hot heat until sugar dissolves. Beat egg and add to hot mixture, add nuts and vanilla. Cook 5 minutes. Pour over Rice Krispies. Roll into small balls, then roll in coconut.
