CHOCOLATE PUDDING 
1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend sugar, cornstarch, salt and cocoa in a mixing bowl. Stir the 1/2 cup milk into sugar mixture. Pour this mixture into the 1 1/2 cups scalded milk (in top of double boiler), stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into dessert dishes. Cool slightly and chill.
