BARBECUED BANANAS
bananas (just ripe - enough for one per person)
lemon juice
brown sugar
cinnamon or nutmeg
butter (stick - can be right out of the fridge)
heavy duty aluminum foil
grill (gas or charcoal)

Peel the bananas and lay on a double thickness of foil. Splash about 1 tablespoon of lemon juice over the banana. Sprinkle with about 1 handful of brown sugar, a light dusting of cinnamon and cut about 3-4 pats of butter, lay on top of the banana. Wrap the foil into a secure packet around the banana - twist the ends. Gas Grill: about 7 to 10 minutes, not directly on the flames. Charcoal Grill: 4 - 7 minutes directly on the briquets.

Serve over Vanilla ice cream or Frozen Yogurt.

NOTE: On the gas grill - when I let the grill pre-heat - I throw on the banana packets first - by the time the grill is hot - the dessert is ready to be taken off the grill and the main meal to be cooked. (10 minute time applies when doing it this way)
