REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
8-10 cucumbers (slender ones)
3-4 onions
2 c. cider vinegar
3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. canning salt
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 red sweet pepper

Slice cucumbers and onions real thin. Separate onion rings. Cut up pepper in small pieces. Mix vinegar, sugar, salt, turmeric, celery seed. Mix well. Pour over the cucumbers and onions and place in refrigerator. Stir every couple of days. Let stand for about 2 weeks. Pickles have to stay in refrigerator.
