FRENCH TOAST 
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/4 c. bottled milk
6 slices bread

Beat eggs slightly. Add salt, sugar and milk. Pour into shallow dish. Dip each slice of bread into it so that both sides are well soaked. Brown on both sides in hot salad oil in a skillet. Makes 6 slices of French Toast. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup, molasses, jelly, honey or applesauce.
