1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
2 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 c. water

Cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat in a pot. Stir and crumble meat until it is brown and the onion is soft. Drain off the fat, then stir in the ketchup and chili powder. Add the water and simmer for 3 minutes.

Makes about 3 cups.
