PEANUT POPCORN BALLS 
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tbsp. creamy peanut butter
Dash of salt, if desired
2 c. popped popcorn
1/4 c. salted peanuts

Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter and salt in 1 quart casserole. Microwave uncovered on high (550 watts) until mixture begins to bubble - 30 to 45 seconds; stir. Stir in popcorn and peanuts until well coated. Cool 5 minutes.

Shape mixture firmly into 2 balls with hands dipped in cold water. Place on wax paper and cool completely. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap. Sometimes I spread on cookie sheet, allow to cool and break into pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
